We bought our home in 1989 with the intention of having a home-based catering business out of our big beautiful kitchen. Several home and business improvements later, our small business has grown into a vibrant multifaceted food enterprise that has proved very nimble at changing with the times.

Our greatest hope is that the culinary lifestyle that we have built here will be passed on to new stewards for the next chapter. Our business has grown and changed over the years, and as a result, there are several business opportunities available to the next owners.

Our hope is since W3 Pizza nights have become a welcome opportunity in our small town for neighbors to cross paths on a summer evening, that the new owners of 414 MBR are able to continue to serve pizza to Worcester neighbors. Our dream is to be one of those customers!

In the meantime, we’re happy to help train and work with the new proprietors to help keep this vital tradition going.

Bon Temps Gourmet Catering

Bon Temps Gourmet was the original business endeavor that inspired the purchase of the property in 1989. It grew over the years into a vibrant part of the greater central Vermont community. While we chose to down-shift the catering business in 2020, we still get regular inquiries and know that there is still a need for catering services in Central Vermont.

As we transition away from our commercial kitchen, we are actively searching for a new home for W3 Smoked Nuts, whether that is a co-packer, or a new partner, or the possibility of the nuttery being operated by the new owners of 414 MBR. Owl’s Nest Rental: Income Potential

The fully independent 800 square foot timberframe apartment is ideal for short or long term rentals. We have operated it as a vacation rental for many years with great success, also as a long-term apartment rental at times.
